Meenakshi was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March. The oncology team at the Hyderabad Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Meenakshi is 43, worked as a construction supervisor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Hyderabad Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $750 goes: • Transport to the Hyderabad Oncology Institute: $145 • Household costs while unable to work: $380 • Scans and lab work: $85 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $140 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • sending love. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

    • keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Hyderabad.
