Mazen needs a prosthetic leg - help us make it happen
A prosthetic leg would give Mazen independence - we're $400 away.
🇫🇷 France1,105 views
Mazen lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Lyon Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $400.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Mazen could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $400 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $140
• First-year servicing plan: $210
• Delivery and set-up: $50
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hang in there. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Take care
