Max's kidney failure: help with the vet bill
A rabbit named Max needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $350 bill the family can't cover.

Max is my rabbit of nine years. On 22 June we rushed to Colombo Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Max is more than a pet - Max walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Colombo Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Max's recovery.
Where the $350 goes:
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $100
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $30
• Emergency surgery: $220
