Maverick needs a specialist standing frame - help us make it happen
A specialist standing frame would give Maverick independence - we are $3,500 away.

I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at Manukau General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,500.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $3,500 goes:
• specialist standing frame: $2,650
• Fitting and training sessions: $370
• Delivery and set-up: $175
• First-year servicing plan: $305
