After years of caregiving, Mateo has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at Dallas Wellbeing Centre cost $140 each.
Mateo has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Mateo could afford. The therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
