Mary needs a prosthetic leg - help us make it happen
Help Mary get a prosthetic leg so She can get to the shops and visit friends.
Anywhere in the world1,114 views
Mary lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at Dodoma General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Mary could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• First-year servicing plan: $55
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thanks for sharing this, Daniel. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Albany but we're thinking of you. God bless.
