Marseille storm relief - Harbor village
The storm damaged 80 homes in Harbor village. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The storm hit Harbor village on 8 November. My home was one of 80 damaged, and 7 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $4,550 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,650
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,950
• Clean water and purification supplies: $950
Thank you for reading my story.

Wishing you the best. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Corpus Christi.
You're not alone. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like!
