Wiesbaden
I earned a place in Year 11 at the Wiesbaden Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $400, which is more than we have. I love coding and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $400 goes: • Textbooks and workbooks: $210 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $35 • School uniform and shoes: $155 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Updates from Marlene

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($60 in total) I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. We're at 105% thanks to 10 of you. I made the first payment toward textbooks and workbooks. More news soon.

  3. Quick update: $130 raised so far (33%). we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
