Mark was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Cebu City Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Mark is 40, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cebu City Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $2,100 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $165 • Transport to Cebu City Regional Medical Center: $210 • Household costs while unable to work: $270 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,455 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
