Marina is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at Moscow Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,600.
The registrar has said Marina can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Marina has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Marina would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Marina isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Moscow Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Outstanding tuition balance: $460
