Maria needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
A laundry service in Petrópolis needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after floodwater.

For three years I have run a laundry service in Petrópolis. In May, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $950 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $380
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $280
• Shop repairs and licensing: $90
• Working capital for the first month: $200
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

thinking of you. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together.
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Salvador.
Wishing you peace, Maria. Shared this with my family. Don't give up.
