María needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
María lost a freezer and scales to the demolition of the market and needs $500 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For three years I have run a fish stall in Cali. In January, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $95
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $345
Thank you for reading my story.

You're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Konya.
Rooting for you. Hope the shop reopens soon!
small businesses are the heart of Cali. Hope you're open again soon. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best!
