Margaux needs an adapted tricycle that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,350.

Margaux lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Tangier General Hospital has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,350.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Margaux could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $1,200
• Fitting and training sessions: $70
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $55
