Marco was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in June. The oncology team at Latina Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Marco is 50, worked as a bus conductor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Latina Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,600
• Scans and lab work: $820
• Transport to Latina Cancer Centre: $510
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $550
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,470
