Maple's pyometra: help with the vet bill
A dog named Maple needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $500 bill the family can't cover.

Maple is my dog of three years. On 16 August we rushed to Kediri Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Kediri Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $360
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $75
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35
