Maple Primary School needs a repair café workshop - Rohan's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $600 for materials.
🇮🇳 India1,148 views
For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 587 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $500
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
• Permits and inspections: $25
With deep gratitude,
Rohan

Thinking of you and your family, Rohan. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Buenos Aires so I could bring a meal. God bless
Sending good thoughts. This could happen to any of us. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
