Maple Primary School needs a repair café workshop - Aaliyah's neighborhood project
A community-led a repair café workshop at Maple Primary School that will serve 131 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $850.
It will serve about 131 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $850 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $300
• Tools hire and delivery: $330
• Permits and inspections: $220

praying for you. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
