Maple Park needs a playground - Amparo's neighborhood project

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Park, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 166 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $400 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $165 • Permits and inspections: $95 • Safety equipment and signage: $140 If you're reading this, thank you. - Amparo
