Mansi received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A termination letter arrived last week. Mansi needs $500 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Tiruchirappalli.

When my hours were cut in half in August, Mansi fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Friday a termination letter was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $500.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, the family must leave.
There are a toddler and a baby at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Mansi has started working extra hours at a market stall, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $500 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $300
• Late fees and court costs: $40
• Utilities in arrears: $20
• First month of rent as a buffer: $140
Every share and every dollar helps.
