Manoj's stage 2 breast cancer treatment fund
Supporting Manoj through stage 2 breast cancer: medication, transport to Siliguri Cancer Centre, and living costs while He can't work.
Anywhere in the world1,129 views
Manoj was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at Siliguri Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Manoj is 45, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Siliguri Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $750 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $45
• Transport to Siliguri Cancer Centre: $120
• Scans and lab work: $220
• Household costs while unable to work: $365
With deep gratitude,
Rashmi
