Manisha's Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund

Manisha is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Lalitpur
Manisha was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at the Lalitpur Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Manisha is 36, worked as a tailor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Lalitpur Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $950 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $115 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $630 • Scans and lab work: $205 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Subash

  • is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Manisha.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. household costs while unable to work comes first ($115) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
