Manisha needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Kathmandu
Manisha drives for a living in Kathmandu, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 3 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 3 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $155
• Labor charges: $55
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $20
• Towing and inspection: $20
Thanks for reading all this.

You're not alone. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 30 people at work. Thinking of Kathmandu.
