Cairo

Mango is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 23 September we rushed to the Cairo Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $350. They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond January. Mango is more than a pet - Mango is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Cairo Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $350 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45 • Emergency surgery: $290 • Medication and follow-up visits: $15 Every share and every dollar helps. - Sawsan

Updates from Sawsan

Good news. Because of your gifts ($264 in total) I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 47% now ($164). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for diagnostics is now scheduled.
