Manasi's prostate cancer treatment fund

Manasi was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January. The oncology team at Mumbai Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Manasi is 45, worked as a primary school teacher until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mumbai Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
