Maina needs my school-run minibus repaired to get back to work in Jinja
Maina's my school-run minibus is Maina's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $255.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 3 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $255. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.

• Labor charges: $45
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Towing and inspection: $5

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. gearbox replacement (parts) comes first ($180) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for asking.
