Mahesh's thyroid cancer treatment fund

Mahesh was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Negombo Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Mahesh is 26, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Negombo Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
