I served twelve years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2023 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $2,750.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.

Sure. The biggest one is transport to appointments, $440. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Good question.
So sorry you're going through this, Luke. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
