Luke's a craniotomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a benign brain tumor, Luke was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Luke was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in March. The surgeon at Saint Matthew Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,250, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $6,900 short.
my husband has been in and out of Saint Matthew Hospital since March. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Luke struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Luke won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
