Lucy's cervical cancer treatment fund
Lucy is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Lucy was diagnosed with cervical cancer in June. The oncology team at Kasarani Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Lucy is 28, worked as a tailor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kasarani Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Scans and lab work: $115
• Transport to Kasarani Cancer Centre: $130
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $955
