Lucia received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A court summons for non-payment arrived last week. Lucia needs $3,250 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Palermo.

After a sudden layoff at the hotel, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,250.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $2,450
• Late fees and court costs: $240
• Utilities in arrears: $250
• First month of rent as a buffer: $310

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Lucia
Sure. The biggest one is rent arrears (3 months), $2,450. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Appreciate you taking the time.
