Lucas needs my school-run minibus repaired to get back to work in Los Angeles
Lucas's my school-run minibus is Lucas's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $1,550.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 4 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Labor charges: $250
• Towing and inspection: $100
• transmission replacement (parts): $1,200
Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care. Hope the shop reopens soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
