Syracuse
Luca was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July. The oncology team at Syracuse Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Luca is 35, worked as a shop owner until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Syracuse Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,800 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $640 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,450 • Scans and lab work: $980 • Transport to Syracuse Cancer Centre: $730 I hope life is good to you.
