Lourdes's stomach cancer treatment fund

Lourdes was diagnosed with stomach cancer in January. The oncology team at Makati Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Lourdes is 43, worked as a hairdresser until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Makati Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
