For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $700. It will serve about 166 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $700 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $195 • Tools hire and delivery: $280 • Permits and inspections: $225 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Reagan

Updates from Reagan

  1. Quick update: $295 raised so far (42%). we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 34% now ($240). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward tools hire and delivery.

  3. Wanted to say thank you properly. 28% funded and I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts.
