Lotus Primary School needs a repair café workshop - Esther's neighborhood project

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $150. It will serve about 596 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $150 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $65 • Safety equipment and signage: $60 • Permits and inspections: $25 Glad we found this place. - Esther
