Lotus Primary School needs a covered market stall space - Ramesh's neighborhood project

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $650. It will serve about 507 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $650 goes: • Materials: $530 • Permits and inspections: $20 • Safety equipment and signage: $100 Thank you so much.
