Lorenzo needs my delivery van repaired to get back to work in Iztapalapa
Without my delivery van Lorenzo can't work; a $300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my delivery van. 12 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $180
• Towing and inspection: $20
• Labor charges: $100
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Updates from Lorenzo
Wanted to say thank you properly. 30% funded and the plan for labor charges is now scheduled.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($30 in total) the plan for transmission replacement is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too.

So sorry you're going through this, Lorenzo. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
