Lorenzo needs a cutting table and overlocker to reopen a sewing studio
Lorenzo has run a sewing studio for three years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $1,350 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a sewing studio in Coyoacán. In February, a storm that collapsed the roof took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Initial stock: fabric: $290
• Shop repairs and licensing: $185
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $875
I hope life is good to you.

Sending good thoughts, Lorenzo. Shared it with a few friends. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Lorenzo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Thinking of you and your family, Lorenzo. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Lorenzo. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Coyoacán.
