Looking for an UX design mentor: Kylie's career change at 48
A mentor in UX design could help Kylie with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.
🇳🇿 New Zealand771 views
I have worked as a factory operator for 14 years, and I'm 48. After a health scare, I decided to move into UX design, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Auckland, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Thank you so much.
