I have worked as a stay-at-home parent for 8 years, and I'm 44. After years of wanting more, I decided to move into accounting, and I have completed a bootcamp. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in Ciudad de México, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Hope the shop reopens soon. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

    • Stay strong. Hope the shop reopens soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.

      • Small businesses are the heart of Ciudad de México. Hope you're open again soon. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from London.

Best of luck, Ricardo. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Ciudad de México.
