Lilian's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill

In October I was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal. My surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for December. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,250, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $750 short. Doctors at Saint Joseph Hospital told me a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without knee replacement surgery. I work as a warehouse packer, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $1,250 is far beyond what I've.
