Liberty Primary School needs a playground - Marlene's neighborhood project
A community-led a playground at Liberty Primary School that will serve 453 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 453 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $110
• Materials: $510
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
