Liberty Primary School needs a free library and reading room - Parvathi's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $350 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 298 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $280
• Permits and inspections: $15
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $30

keep going. I hope things turn around soon. After 16 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
