Liberty Primary School needs a community garden - Duygu's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $1,600 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $420, and the remaining cost is $1,600.
It will serve about 514 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Materials: $770
• Permits and inspections: $220
• Safety equipment and signage: $370
• Tools hire and delivery: $240
