Let's build a youth football pitch together in San Francisco
Volunteers in San Francisco are raising $3,450 for a youth football pitch at the Pioneer community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,450.
It will serve about 150 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
