Let's build a youth football pitch together in Quezon City
A community-led a youth football pitch at the Freedom health centre yard that will serve 384 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $150, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 384 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $450 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Materials: $340
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
