Let's build a youth football pitch together in Londrina

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty vacant lot, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,000. It will serve about 116 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $1,000 goes: • Materials: $760 • Permits and inspections: $95 • Safety equipment and signage: $145 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
