Let's build a youth football pitch together in Heliopolis
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $650 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $115, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 483 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $500
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $70
