Let's build a youth football pitch together in Duluth
Volunteers in Duluth are raising $1,750 for a youth football pitch at Union Primary School.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,750.
It will serve about 334 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $210
• Materials: $1,300
• Tools hire and delivery: $240
