Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Saint Petersburg
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $1,050 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,050.
It will serve about 463 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Materials: $690
• Permits and inspections: $85
• Safety equipment and signage: $110
• Tools hire and delivery: $165
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
